Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is Overflow Mission a non-profit?
A: Yes! We’re a registered 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization.
Q: Are my donations tax deductible?
A: Yes! All donations, whether online or by check will receive a receipt at the end of the year showing your total donations. Save these to file taxes.
Q: Can I visit Overflow Mission?
A: Yes! We’d love to host you on a visit. Please reach out via our Contact page to learn more.
Q: Can I donate to a specific project?
A: At this time, all contributions go into our General Fund. Our hope is to have an option for specific donations towards projects in the future, but we don’t have that yet. Stay tuned to our Newsletters for updates.
Q: How much of my donations will be going to your projects?
A: We have certain expenses to maintain the mission and keep it running. Our aim is to have 85%+ of donations go directly towards mission outreach and community projects and assistance.
Q: What does $50/$100 per month do for impact?
A: GREAT QUESTION! It makes a massive impact in the lives of the families we serve. Evan as small as $2 can cover the rent of an extremely impoverished family. At $50, you can cover food for a month for a family. And at $100, you can fund a start up business for a local mother or father that can be sustained. An example of a start up business might be to buy a few goats that can be traded or sold for profit, then slowly worked into more and more deals. This is very common in Zimba.
